Coborn Healing Center Celebrating 5 Years with Open House
CentraCare – Coborn Healing Center, 1900 CentraCare Circle, is celebrating its five-year anniversary with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Learn how the services have grown over the years and how you can support the continuation of affordable, holistic services for cancer patients and their caregivers.
The open house will include:
- Touring the Coborn Healing Center
- Visiting the Reflection Garden
- Meeting our team and learning about services such as Acupuncture, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Dietitian Classes, Enhancement Program and Palliative Care.
The event is open to the community and we encourage donors, cancer survivors and CentraCare team members to attend. Light refreshments will be provided along with an ice cream truck (free tokens for the first 70 attendees) for a sweet summer treat.
“Without the help from all at Coborn Healing Center, I may never have found the power to heal or find ‘The Magical Forest,’” said Mary Jensen, a cancer survivor who attended Art Therapy classes at the Coborn Healing Center. She will discuss her painting, “The Magical Forest,” and share her cancer journey along with her experiences at the Coborn Cancer Center.
