Generosity On Display at Holly Ball 2023, Raising Over $930,000

Published in Media Releases

The 49th annual CentraCare Foundation Holly Ball was a sparkling success, raising more than $930,000 during an inspiring and beautiful evening on Dec. 2 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.

The theme “Be the Good” was evident through the generosity of this community with money going to support the CentraCare Hospice, Coborn Cancer Center and Child Advocacy Center Greatest Needs Funds. Holly Ball was led this year by Chair Melinda Tamm and Vice Chair Marie Sanderson, sharing their time, expertise and talents — being a true example of how to “Be the Good” in our community.

The event was made possible by the Presenting Sponsor, Design Electric, and all the volunteers, committee members, benefactors and sponsors. This includes more than 1,200 who were in attendance to experience the sights and sounds of a winter wonderland, while celebrating the good and generous spirit of our communities.

The funds raised for Holly Ball directly impact patients and families during their cancer and hospice journeys, and for those needing the services of the Child Advocacy Center. For more on Holly Ball including benefactors, ways to still donate and photos, click here.

Planning is already underway for next year’s 50th annual Holly Ball! Save the date for Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024.

*Originally, the total announced was more than $850,000. The media release was amended on Jan. 5, 2024, after all donations were taken into account.
