    Biography

    What I Do
As a pediatric psychotherapist, I approach each family as a unit together and work on a family systems approach to change the system rather than change just one entity within the system.

My clinical interests include pediatrics, trauma, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and autism spectrum disorder.

    Why I Love My Work
What I enjoy most about my work is the daily interactions I have with the children in my unit. When they learn a new skill or begin to open up, it truly feels like you are making a difference in the lives of those children. I have always enjoyed working with children as early as babysitting in high school. I did an internship in my undergraduate career working with children who have experienced trauma and was quickly inspired by the therapists I worked with.

    Getting to Know Me
I am the third generation of women in my family to work for CentraCare!

Outside of work, I enjoy reading books, knitting and spending time with my husband and our Australian Sheperd, Josie.
