Trauma Medical Director

Kurt Martinson, MD, FACS

Dr. Martinson has been with CentraCare since 2006 and became St. Cloud Hospital Trauma Director in 2009. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons Committee of Trauma, Minnesota Chapter; Regional Trauma Advisory Committee (RTAC); Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST); and Chest Wall Injury Society (CWIS). He is also a course director for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Rural Trauma Team Development Course (RTTDC).

Tami Bong, MSN, RN, CEN

Tami is responsible for planning, developing, monitoring and coordinating the trauma care elements to ensure an organized multidisciplinary approach to quality care of the trauma patient. Tami has been with CentraCare since 2014. Her background is in trauma management and emergency nursing. Tami has been a certified emergency nurse since 2013.
