Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.
  • If your situation is not an emergency, please use other care options, including:
  • If this is a medical emergency, call 9-1-1, or visit the ER.

Together, we can do this. Thank you for your support.

Vascular Care at CentraCare

Why Choose Us for Your Vascular Care?

Quality care. We were recognized nationally in the 2021 U.S. News & World Report as a high performing hospital in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.

Range of services. As one of Minnesota’s full service vascular centers, we treat a range of health problems that affect your circulatory system. View a list of our services.

Expert staff. We bring all vascular care, from diagnosis to treatment, to one location. With one phone call, you will see the right vascular expert, at the right time, right here in Central Minnesota. Our program includes surgeons, radiologists and cardiologists. This level of collaboration between these vascular specialties is rare in the upper Midwest, and it supports our goal of providing people in Central Minnesota with the best possible care.

Technology/Innovation. When possible, we take a minimally invasive approach to vascular care. New cutting-edge procedures and devices can reduce hospital stays, recovery time and blood loss. An example of this is our use of transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), a new surgical option for treating carotid artery disease.

Follow-up care. After treatment, we work with patients on lifestyle changes. Sometimes diet and exercise can prevent a disease from coming back. We will partner with you to monitor your ongoing vascular health.
