Broccoli Salad with Dried Cherries

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli, cut into bite size florets
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced, then chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup lite mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (cider or any variety)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Combine broccoli, onion, pecans, and cherries in a large serving bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, yogurt, Parmesan cheese, sugar, vinegar, and. Pour over broccoli mixture, toss gently and serve.
