CentraCare Foundation Receives a Generous $250,000 Matching Gift for Year-End Campaign

Published in Media Releases

CentraCare Foundation is excited to announce that we have received a remarkable $250,000 matching gift for our year-end Community Campaign from an anonymous donor. This year’s campaign focuses on mental health care for children.

CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health at Clara’s House is a partial hospitalization program for children and adolescents ages 5-18 who may have emotional, behavioral or psychiatric difficulties. The program provides intensive, collaborative, therapeutic services with a goal of stabilization and improving emotional well-being.

Community Campaign gifts will help the program expand to address the mental health needs of children ages 2-5, as there is an opportunity and a need to intervene even at a younger age. Along with this new program, an indoor and outdoor play area will be built for this early childhood population.

Thanks to the generous matching gift, a donation received by the CentraCare Foundation before Dec. 31 will have twice the impact, directly improving the lives of children who are grappling with mental health challenges. Learn more about the campaign and services offered at Clara’s House:
