CentraCare Employee Campaign

What is the Employee Campaign?

Each year, CentraCare Foundation asks CentraCare employees to make a contribution to help fund items and programs that enhance the care of our patients and their families — beyond what is reimbursed by insurance. This support demonstrates to the community that our employees not only deliver superior care, but share of their treasure to improve the experience for those we serve.

Since 1998, CentraCare employees have generously contributed more than $13.8 million to enhance programs and services throughout CentraCare.

What is 30/60/90?

CentraCare Employee 30,60,90Employees are asked to consider giving 30, 60 or 90 minutes of their pay per pay period or any amount they can afford. The idea behind the 30/60/90 campaign is to give all employee benefactors equal recognition in the gift category regardless of the end dollar amount.

A payroll deduction gift will reflect your current pay rate. A gift of 30, 60 or 90 minutes is a commitment for any employee. However, gifts of ANY size are appreciated and count toward the employee participation goal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between an annual pledge and a recurring gift?

With the annual pledge option, employees are invited to renew their pledge and gift amount. Our annual payroll deduction pledge cycle starts with the first pay period in July and ends the last payroll period of June the following year.

A recurring gift is a self-selected amount that would be deducted from each payroll until the employee notifies the Foundation to increase, decrease or stop the gift. No annual pledge form would need to be completed after the first year. Employees would receive an annual gift acknowledgement. Any 30, 60, or 90-minute recurring gifts would update to the current pay rate each July.

What if I want to support a fund that’s not listed on the form?

The gift designation default is your local priority. If you would prefer to give to another fund, select “Other” to see a list of funds available. When you click on one of the headings (ex. Cancer Funds), you will see more options under each heading. If your desired fund is not listed under one of the headings, click on the “Other Fund (not listed)” tab and select “Other.” Then type the desired fund name under “Comments” section. Foundation staff will follow up with you if there are further questions.

Will my 30/60/90 gift increase as I receive pay increases?

A payroll deduction gift will reflect your current pay rate (date pledge was submitted) through the term of your pledge commitment. Any 30, 60, or 90-minute recurring gifts would update to the current pay rate each July.

What if I am in the middle of an Employee Campaign pledge?

Annual payroll deduction gifts end each June. A gift made to this year's Employee Campaign will begin in July through the term of your commitment.

What if I need to make a change to my foundation pledge and payroll deduction?

Your payroll deduction may be changed at any time. If you need to make a change, email Gwen at Muehringg@centracare.com.

Are gifts to the campaign tax deductible?

Yes. As a non-profit organization, CentraCare Foundation complies with all IRS requirements for tax exempt 501(c) (3) classification. The tax and financial consequences of gifts to the program depend upon your personal circumstances. We recommend that you talk with your tax advisor.
