Spiritual and emotional support is available to you when you are:

  • Experiencing an emergency or stressful time
  • Facing a difficult decision
  • Need religious or spiritual resources
  • Would like or need assistance with spiritual or religious rituals.
  • Anticipating surgery
  • Coping with long-term illness
  • Feeling anxious or depressed
  • Experiencing the birth of a child
  • Dealing with loss, grief or a death

At CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital or St. Cloud Hospital, ask your nurse to contact a chaplain.

CentraCare – Monticello Hospital

Spiritual Center

The Spiritual Center is located on the lower level of the hospital down the hall from the elevator. It is always open to patients, families and staff.

Healing Garden

The Healing Garden is located next to the Monticello Cancer Center on River Street, providing patients, residents, staff and visitors with convenient access to a calming environment to support emotional health and well-being.

CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital

A chaplain is available during the day Monday-Friday. Local religious leaders provide support for emergencies after hours and on the weekends.

Chapel

The Chapel, on the main floor of the hospital, is open for patients, families and staff.

CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital

We are a Catholic, regional hospital whose mission is to improve the health and quality of life for the people we serve in a manner that reflects the healing mission of Jesus.

Chapel

All are welcome at the hospital chapel, located on the first floor between Center and Lakes entrances. The chapel is always open.

Catholic Mass

  • Sunday-Friday: 10:30 a.m.
  • Saturday: 4 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend Mass services at St. Cloud Hospital. To protect the safety of our patients and staff, please avoid visiting the hospital if you have cold or flu symptoms. Or if you have had close contact with someone with a similar respiratory illness.

Prayer and Meditation Room

All are welcome in the prayer and meditation room, located on the first floor near the Lakes entrance.

Communion

  • Catholic patients: Holy Communion is distributed daily.
  • Protestant patients: Holy Communion is brought to patients by a Protestant chaplain upon request.

If you would like a visit from a chaplain, priest, pastor or your faith leader, please ask your nurse to contact the Spiritual Care department or dial “0” for assistance.
