CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.

Anthony Gardner

Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Anthony GardnerGardner is responsible for internal and external communications, branding, public and media relations, marketing, crisis communications, and reputation management. Prior to joining CentraCare, Gardner was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan for ten years and Director of Marketing and Planning for North Memorial in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Gardner has served on the national Board of Directors for the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and also as a speaker and panelist at multiple national conferences. Gardner has also served on multiple community boards, with an emphasis on non-profit culture and arts organizations. He currently serves on the Minnesota State Arts Board.

Gardner earned a BA in biomedical engineering from Yale University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and an MA in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University. He is also a fellow of the Advisory Board in Washington, D.C.
