CentraCare – Monticello Hospital has a long history of supporting the health and wellness of our community. Opening as the Monticello – Big Lake Community Hospital in 1965 as a community effort to have a hospital close to home, we have grown to deliver enhanced care locally through state- of-the art technology, expert and caring providers, education-focused programs and patient-centered services. We continue our tradition of partnering to meet the unique health care needs of the community.
Construction Update! MnDOT is resurfacing and updating the Hwy 25 bridge over the Mississippi River in Monticello. It is expected that the road will be reduced to single lanes in both directions until late October. During this time, please plan additional travel time when leaving for appointments, as there will be traffic delays. Learn more.
